I'm bringing the following equipment and other interesting things to HIP:

with Linux on it...

I Need your COM Port!

The only computer I've got with me (I'm in Belgium but from California) is an
Apple PowerBook 5300/100, and I don't have an Ethernet card for it.  Worse, no
one in Brussels that I've talked to has one, or can get one in time for HIP. 
So I'm gonna hack together a serial cable (with RX and TX swapped of course),
and was wonding if anyone with a Linux PC would lend their serial port and a
spot on their routing table...  If you could do that much I'd be ecstatic!
I'll just stick my tent within 25 meters of yours (having that long a serial
cable...) and go from there, eh?

Unga chacka.  I run UNIX, WinNT, TCP/IP networking, I code C, I do
all sorts of crazy whacked out IS type shit (firewalls, encryption, 
etc...).  By the time I graduate maybe I'll know something.

I'm writing a book, hopefully to show what hacking is really about.
